Oxford is a wonderful county located in the South-East region of the UK, bordering Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.

Oxford has a lot on offer in the way of historical museums, castles and palaces such as the Oxford University Museum of Natural History and the Museum of History of Science, both located right in the heart of Oxford. There’s also Oxford Castle and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock which are both well worth a visit.
Oxford is well known for its Universities, so why not take a walking tour around the city and view the beautiful architecture of the famous Bodleian Library and the surrounding colleges. Or take a chauffeured punt down the river Thames taking in all of the beautiful scenery that passes you by.
Although the most common mode of transport for students in the city is the bicycle, Oxford is well serviced by buses and trains. There are regular train services between Oxford and London Paddington and services to the South and to the West Country are via Reading. Services to the north are via Banbury. If you don’t fancy driving into the City Centre, there are park and ride facilities available and many bus routes available too.
